Join me in fighting Lymphoma!

To mark my third year in remission from Hodgkin's Lymphoma, I have decided to walk in a 5k for the Lymphoma Research Foundation. Although I support the ACS and LLS, the LRF is the largest nationwide foundation focused exclusively on lymphoma, so I have decided they need my support most right now. Additionally, they understand the special problems of young adults surviving from cancer and are a major supporter of cancer research at the University of Virginia (my alma mater, both for undergrad and my treatment :-). Specifically, they directly funded a project conducted by Dr. John Densmore, my oncologist at UVA. Finally, over 85% of their annual fundraising goes directly to their programs, making them one of the most efficient cancer charities in the country.

I understand that these are difficult economic times for everyone, but your contribution can go a long way to help fight lymphoma, which while very treatable in most forms (and we're getting there for others) can create long-term issues unique from other cancers.
